In this meditation we start by noticing how things are in the body and the mind. We then picture a beautiful mountain in our mind's eye and start tapping into the steadiness of this mountain as the seasons come and go. We can use our posture to start feeling as solid and steady as mountain. At the end we use positive neuroplasticity to install this experience in our brain by enriching it and letting it sink in.
In this lying down meditation we visualize a lake and feel the breath moving like waves through the body. By tapping into the quietness at the bottom of the lake we can tune into a sense of inner peace and calm despite emotional turbulences that might occur.
In this meditation we visualize a beautiful mountain and connect with its qualities of steadiness and grounding. just like the mountain we can be tested by the seasons of our life. Different emotions can pass like the weather, but in our core we remain untouched. This can be a go-to resource when we feel overwhelmed by difficult emotions.
