This meditation starts with a bodyscan. It then invites you to bring awareness to a difficult situation or feeling that is present in your mind. We will explore it in the body and bring kindness to the sensation. It follows the basic structure of the acronym RAIN that US meditation teacher Tara Brach tends to use: Recognize, accept, investigate and nourish. At the end you are invited to send yourself some love by using wordings that makes sense to you. The meditation ends with awareness of breathing. One word of caution: This meditation is not advised in case you have suffered a traumatic experience. In this case it is best to seek professional support.
